30th March, 2017: I had switched off my phone to avoid distractions and was tired of studying and felt like talking to somebody, so google searched ‘Stranger Chat’, found TWS, and engaged with users on the Random Chat for a few days. (Yes, been 2 effing years.)

Thereafter, I had various stints on and off the site. I have toggled between Random, Global, Banter, Voice and Main site. Obviously, I haven’t been here for the entire 2 years. My active state has hardly been for more than an year.

And my next Plan of Action is a secret.
My unpredictability makes me a mystery, and that is how I would like it to stay. :)

P.S.: Thanks to you, many people got an online mumma. Your presence has been enlightening, and the talks with you has been entertaining. I hope that your Polygamy wish gets fulfilled :p

Excuse for my re-emergence: Beauty with a Beast of a Campaign

So I was randomly stalking the recent topics section and one topic led me to another until I was brought to the aforementioned topic and discovered the seriousness that being a mod meant at that time. The sincerity with which Sunshine (and Morf) campaigned was commendable to read, and the amount of people they tagged was astonishing. Going through the various comments made me realise that the users cared for their vote more back then and were very intrigued to know the candidates for the elections better, so as to not vote for inappropriate candidate. The comments also made me realise the presence of internal politics and groupism (obviously, oof). Its funny to imagine now that people can have actually have rivalry and conspire against other virtual personalities on a chat platform (cue the upvoting/downvoting with different accounts to reduce their reps).

And tuning back to now, its mostly kids who handle the mantle of being a Mod. Their tolerance and sarcastic levels are quite in accordance with the mental level of the fellow users. The process of electing a Mod is comparatively more transparent and casual. There is no more a dark tone or cold shoulder in the times of election, its all fun and chill and that is apparent by the fact that even someone like Toney can become a Mod :joy: :joy:

So yeah, these are lighter times for TWS. Though I have witnessed some epic rants by former users too, but I believe that it has been managed with composure and calmness which is in stark contrast to my own reaction at being riled up a couple of times. A Mod once said to me: "That I'm more mature than you ever can be." And I couldn't agree more :relieved:

P.S.- I just made this topic to confirm the identity of that Gorl in @SunshineF 's topic so that I know whether to go for Batanes or Batanges :P

He has been elected by a purely democratic process where people have willingly voted him to be Mod.

Usually Mods are sane.
Lets just say that the one you met is different, and is currently just 2-3 days into his tenure as a Mod. He has much to learn.
Power makes any man corrupt.
But he is no ordinary man. Trust him to destroy the reputation of mods in mere days :)
