@thestrangest I do have experience with suicide. I tried to kill myself when I was 10. And I would have succeeded if it hadn't been for my older brother.

@thegoddess I'm pro gun and anti bullet. The only way guns can kill (other than being bludgeons of course) is by firing bullets. So, I say that there needs to be more regulations on who can buy bullets.

@thestrangest You obviously didn't understand what I was trying to say. And what I mean to say is that suicide is the cowardly way out, because even if it takes guts to kill yourself, it takes more courage not to and face life instead of running away from your problems.

As for religion, you said that if you kill yourself you go to heaven, so I simply corrected that. And when I said that I wouldn't be alive today without my religion, I literally meant that I wouldn't be alive, not that I found some reason to live. I was nearly beaten to death on my way home from school. And I just made it to that parking lot before I collapsed. I thank God every day for my survival.

I think my mom is trying to embarrass me to death. Since she heard that I actually wrote poetry without being asked, she has signed me up for this local poetry club, which requires us to submit at least three poems a week! (And the “teacher” encourages us to write 5 or more) So, I’ll be testing my poems here before I submit them to my club.

My girlfriend's birthday is in a few days and I wrote her a poem. (I have no idea why) Although I probably won't give it to her, I would like to know if it's any good in case I actually go through with it, so I'm putting it here to get some opinions on it.

Many can say,
in several ways,
that you have changed my life for the better.
However,
rather than telling you
what you already know
how about I show
our time up till now.

The first time we met,
I almost thought it couldn't be,
and that my eyes were deceiving me.
though I may have only been there
because I lost a bet,
I won a reward much greater,
than what I could have ever imagined,

Then, after the first time we kissed,
your lips were all I thought about,
the ones I can't live without.
And as I fell for all to see,
head over heals,
for all that I feel,
you're always there laughing with me.

Even through the rain
as we play our little game.
I feel more love for you everyday.

@bgirl101105 Then, go somewhere where they do care. You can be with family, friends... or a therapist. Whatever suits you're needs rather than being with a bunch of strangers.

@sup Well, you said she looks exactly like the girl in the last drawing, but there are clear differences in the forehead, lips, and cheeks, so only the nose and eyes look similar between those girls.

@ragnar Thank you. My first attempt at poetry is going better than I anticipated.

@thestrangest Actually, suicide is the coward's way out, since you aren't facing life as what it is, and life is basically one crappy event after another. But there are some rays of hope (definitely cliche) between those events, so you shouldn't give up that easily.

P.S. If you kill yourself you go to hell afterwards, or at least in my religion. And if it weren't for that "nonsense" then I wouldn't be alive today, I would have died in the parking lot of my church.
