I just think it should/could be discussed. Maybe it'll be useful to the admin idgaf.

1. Private Chats
   -I personally liked private chats better when I could talk to whoever I wanted, and stop talking to whoever I wanted. That's the best way, and really the only way the website can truly let you talk to strangers. The way it is now is sort of messed up, and the users are meeting fewer people. Another thing I absolutely hate is the amount of unwarranted pictures of genitalia are sent around. It's fucking disgusting, it's time to stop. Sure, if people want to see that, by all means go ahead and ask. Those of us that don't would love to have a block button or a way to halt communication with people who do.

2. Public Chats
   -The public chat is shit and will probably always be shit. Bots, spammers, fights, shit talking, that one time @BOOTS22 and @Abby-83 thought the chat was their PM (still love y'all tho), creepy old men (and sometimes women) who like to prey on young girls (and sometimes boys) the list goes on and on. No one ever does anything about how shitty the public chat is, not even the admin. It sucks now, and it always will.

3. Topics
   -Who posts the best topics? That's easy: Rag. But where has Rag been for the past lord knows how long. His topics have declined, I love him, but that's just the way it is. All of the topics have declined, and they have been for a long time now. They aren't amusing or appealing at all, and it's mostly 9 year olds looking for daddies.

4. Rep.
   -People are so concerned with this, and I'll never understand that. Upvotes and downvotes and whatnot. I even lost a good friend because he thought I was aiming to undermine his. It's ridiculous, really. Sure, it's nice to know when someone agrees with what you have to say, but at a certain point enough really is enough. The importance some people place on it is disgusting.

5. The internet being shit in general.
   -There will always be trolls and generally disgusting unappealing people that never leave the internet. There will always be poetic justice warriors, the uneducated, and spammers. There will always be people that like to be shit to other people just for the hell of it. The main issue that this gives TWS is that it makes it A LOT less fun to come here. It makes it toxic and trashy, in my opinion.

6. Fakers
   -There is one person, she who shall not be named, who I found out recently was fake. There wasn't a single part of her story that was true, aside from the gender she gave. The rest was completely bullshit. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt a bit. It only hurt because she fooled all of us. It happened again with someone else I won't disclose. He had two accounts and was pretending to be a girl. The girl account he created later went on to do some pretty nasty shit to some people. That stuff is fucked up, but it happens here all the time. If you wanted to meet fake pieces of shit, you came to the right place.

7. The content
   -It still to this day AMAZES me how TWS is a "family friendly" website but has disgraceful advertisements and no way to rate the topics or posts being made. If it hadn't been branded as family friendly, I wouldn't care, but this is ridiculous. A few of the advertisements (filled with graphic pictures smh) that I've ranked as the top worst include "Oriental hotties want to fuck in your area" and "These weak Christian women need a bad man" and "Slavic singles waiting for you to play with them" just to name a few. Really, it's pretty damn disgusting.

Welp kudos if you read that entire thing, it's just a few thoughts.
There are probably loads more reasons, you can leave them down below.
I miss the real OG TWS users smh.

For starters, I think the majority of us would like to think we'd be better off,
mentally and physically, maybe emotionally.
Yet whether we like to believe it or not, TWS does something for all of us.
For some people it's validation, new friends, or a way to hate on people from behind a screen
For you creepy old men, it's a way to mistreat younger people "without getting caught"
Whatever it is, I think we'd all be pretty different if it were taken away.

Here's the true story from start to finish

Once upon a time I came to TWS because I genuinely thought it was cool. Like literally everything else in life, it had plenty of faults, but most of the people here seemed happy. So, I joined. I didn't start making topics for a while but when I did, I got attention. I gained a lot of popularity and people started liking me pretty quickly. They expected me to post more and gain reputation and loads of other things. I didn't know any better, so I tried.

Then, shortly after I met 2 people. (a boy and a girl) For a while, I thought they were my best friends. Now I know they are both fake, I mean they lied about their identity, accounts, etc. One of them, the girl, I was happy she was friends with me. She introduced me to a lot of people, and we had a little circle. Most of those people don't come around anymore. They all slowly left, and now maybe 1 or 2 are still here.

The boy I met was really sweet. I thought he was being a good friend to me, so I tried to give him everything. He made me super happy. That all turned sour a few months ago when I realised he wasn't who he said. He had another profile, with which he pretended he was a girl and did a lot of very wrong things. This person convinced me to make different accounts as well, he said it was good and everyone did it. I believed him, and that's how the account @Gay-Boy was made. He told me to model them after my real life friends and stay active on them, so I did. After I found out it was bad, of course I stopped using them

A bit later after this, my friend Joey wanted to see what TWS was about, and I told him about the account I made after him. He started using this account every now and then, which I didn't mind because in a way, it was his. At this point he was learning about rep and how it worked, and began to upvote my posts. He said I should use the other ones to do the same thing, so I did. Now I know that in a way I am a follower and should learn to say no and think for myself. Lots of people lead me to do things that I wouldn't have done otherwise.

Anyway after this he started to get bored and said he would see how to fuck with people. He started being more annoying in the public chat and randomly downvoting posts. He asked me about a user called Sup and my relationship with him. I told him we didn't talk often and I didn't even know his name. All he said was okay. I didn't think much of it, and I continued to let him use my mac to get on TWS.

Shortly after, Joey said he wasn't interested in TWS anymore and I wanted to know why. He said people were too uptight. That day I found out he'd been downvoting people's posts, specifically Sup, and telling people about me so I could gain rep. I assume he thought he was helping, but he wasn't. Sup started to message to me after a while, trying to upset me and getting angry. I explained to him multiple times what was going on, and he just got worse and worse. Someone told me he cried and was very upset for a long time because rep is so important to him. For a while, I let things fly over my head because that's all I could do about it.

Recently, just yesterday I made a topic about the decline of TWS. I talked about what I thought they could do better, and what the users could do better. I was accused of the accounts, which I owned up to, because it's true. Someone did tell me to make other accounts, and I was foolish. I'll admit that much. But when the person accused me of downvoting posts to get ahead, I got upset. Me, personally? I would never do that. Yes, I have downvoted posts, but only on my own topics, and only when I don't agree with them. I wouldn't downvote posts recklessly just for the hell of it. After expressing this, things got better, and after explaining, a lot of new people felt for me and the old ones were no longer upset.

So, there you have it. It's all in the air now. This is the truth, and there isn't anything I can do to change it. I never would have thought reputation could be so important to people. I never thought it could be important enough to ruin relationships. I called Joey today and he said it was alright if I posted this using his real name, and he's reading this before I post it to verify everything. To be clear, YES I KNOW THIS IS A 1st WORLD PROBLEM. I know that there are people dying and starving and actually being abused in real life. I'm very in touch with reality, and in the grand scheme of things, this isn't important. It will be forgotten about, and the petty things done by Joey and Sup will fade within a few months. I did think, however that it'd be good to explain this to everyone before I leave and a topic was the best way.

This isn't the reason I'm leaving TWS. I am not one to run away when times get hard, and I can withstand the hate or anything else I may receive. I'm leaving because TWS isn't good for me. People around me have seen how it's been effecting me, and I personally don't even like it anymore. It really was fun while it lasted though, and I have no regrets. I'll be checking in randomly about once a month to have small chats with the people that follow me, and the other friends I have. So, I guess this doubles as a goodbye.

WELP If you read all that, you're a real one. I'll miss most of you guys, a lot of you were really special to me. I think that's all the tea I have to spill today, sis.

So it ocured to me the other day that we're all gonna expire, because death is apart of life. No one close to me has ever died before, but a few days ago, my friend's mum was in a car crash and she was pretty damn near close to dying. Long story short I began to think about my life and reflect on my relationships. I love and respect so many people, yet I don't show it enough. I should really do it before my time runs out.

So I've refrained from using social media.
I'll admit, it was really hard.
Sometimes online, it's hard to prove I'm real.
I get that not everyone will trust me right away and I'm fine with that.
But it's a problem when someone calls me out of my name, makes false accusations, and uses ethnic slurs (that belong to a group that I'm not even apart of. He wasn't very bright.) to get across the fact that they don't trust me.
Honestly, I'm sad about what human interaction is coming to.
It's one thing to insult me to my face,
but when you type words into a box that make someone feel small, that's not okay. Anyone agree?

It's really unfortunate, I remember they were fun to read and incredibly witty.

Personally I've used iPhones all my life. They're really fun, but kind of crappy. (reminds me of.. me lmao) I'll probably get a samsung as the next phone I get I don't really know.

@zazzles Lol I did, in a way. I'm back occasionally to talk to some of the people I still care about though.

It could be useful to know who you're chatting with but I personally like it how it is.

We all know there can be a lot of flaws in this community. Personalities clash and sometimes things just don't come together. Arguing over things like this and outing people though? I think that's something we should step away from. I know from experience, it doesn't make things better, it ruins friendships and sometimes hurts people.

For a while now we've been focusing on the bad about TWS.

Now, it's about time we make it better.

@evan-elderson It's not that I'm letting it get to me, but if you read it, you'll see that through the whole situation I followed other people because I thought they knew what was good for me. I never ever used to do that and I probably need a sec to find myself again and just chill.

It still amazes me though how tiny numbers on a screen can turn people into little monsters though.
