I live with black people in a predominantly black area and have to be reminded at times that my skin color it is not as dark as those around me. Lol. I will be in the neighborhood and various hours of the night and people will ask me "aren't you afraid"? of what I ask. And they'll tell me if being so deep in the hood. I have to laugh. No I'm not afraid thankfully almost everybody knows who the hell I am.
