I want to know, what's the purpose of memories, I know some of of u will say it's easy but I mean like the what's the interpretation of memories,what value they hold in a person's life and Are there really good and bad memories or it's just us who made this difference in order to make somethings easy for us??

Memories often kills our loneliness,we think of the nice times and feel happy and try to somehow relive that moment in our head once again.Memories help us reflect on our achievements and mistakes, because if we can't remember the past we are likely to do the same mistake again.Memories show us how have we changed,or how things have changed around us.Although memories can be painful too,for example a breakup or someone's death.All our emotions come from different types of memories.Therefore,even if they are past,they are still quite valuable
