What simple everyday things in life make you happy/grateful?

I'll go first 🤪

For me there are some things, like hearing the rain trickle on the roof, which can be upgraded by having a nice cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream and that can be upgraded even more by sitting at the fireplace, hearing the fire crackle.
Or going for a walk, or just the simple coffee in the morning while playing a game on my phone. Or even simpler, receiving a message from a friend with just something simple like a funny anecdote or meme. Or seeing the birds at the birdfeeder. Oh man, when I come to think of it there's just so many things to enjoy and they happen every day around us! A nice sunny day with cold winds, making someone smile, reading something interesting, just enjoying a relaxing moment on the couch on a cold day in a blanky! GOOD FOOD 🥑

Oops, this became a longer post than expected, what are your happy moments?!

• Watching my cat sleep in cute positions or playing with her toys.
• Watching a storm outside my living room window.
• Smelling dinner cooking all day in the crock-pot.

For me it's Watching and hearing the rain, seeing little babies and kids smiling, seeing my friends smile, dogs genuinely smiling and being joyful, playing sports and watching other play, a genuine act of kindness when somebody does something for anyone with no expectations of anything in return, old people feeding animals and bonding with them, sleeping at the terrace under the stars at rare times, little birdies pecking at the window during my school hours at the window, owners talking about their pets and how much they love them, little kids running too, watching a river flowing and the little stones and pebbles shining in them, etc many more. Its all very beautiful. Even some landscapes are breath taking that make me thankful and happy for life.
One of them was where I went to the mountains and there was a park in the hotel where we staying at, it had a swing and and when you would ride it, the scenario was 3 tall trees just swaying and the weather being absolutely lovely. It was the best!!!
