It’s people who make us…isn’t it?

I’m a big believer in Philosophy and I believe it’s people who make us. Everyone is born the same and that it’s people who change you as you grow older. When your young and your a baby, your innocent but as soon as your taken out of the hospital and exposed to the real world, does that change? There are always going to be people who want to change you, and that isn’t wrong but always remember to stay true to yourself. I’ve listened to a lot of philosophical/motivational talks and been to some really inspiring places and I’ve taken away many things from there but one thing that has always stuck with me is something someone said to me when we went away once. It was, ‘your mind is everything, what you think, you become.’ This is something the Buddha said but someone repeated it to me and it really makes you think. Over the past few years I’ve changed my views on life, not because of other people but because of places I’ve been to and things I’ve seen. I believe when you die, your body goes but your soul stays alive. This body is mortal and isn’t actually us…it’s people around us and people who we associate who control this mortal body…but our soul, that is really us isn’t it?

@Oliviaaaaa Oliviaaaa this is a great POST!! It is society, environment, culture, economics and religion that changes or mold us. We can reject it, create our own or adapt it. So many things affect our thinking and belief.

@Oliviaaaaa Olive, this is so good and very true omg!!! It's all about perspective, the way u see things, other people might see it differently which leads to that probably they ll think differently as well. But also luckily some can think exactly same. All you said was very true and I loved it all. We jus change cuz of our experiences i guess. World is amazing but people can sometimes control you, that's where u need to believe in urself and be urself yk. People are manipulative at most times, be smart to know enough who u actually are. Cuz yk urself way better and u ll always find ur own type of people who would get you! Many to come and rare to stay. Jus be urself and be real. Im very glad u posted this! Very good❤👍

@Oliviaaaaa I recently read a very poetic and beautiful question which was "What happens when we die" the author smiles placidly and says "The ones who loves us will miss us" that's it... that's the answer all those rush all those worries will all be gone one day with our physical body but what we'll be carrying and leaving behind will be those moments,those laughs,those up's and down's,those thrills,those cryings to be cherished forever and ever by the people who loved us and by the people whom we love!!
That's how i think of life🤌🏼❤️

@AXES yess, we do live in such a wonderful world but sometimes we do need to take some time out to appreciate it…it isn’t good but I definitely take this world for granted lol
