@404ERROR Oh my God Error, you mean, that is not polite.. wait, what is your height, your mom and dad do, and.. oh, this is not polite. ahhahahahahaha.. what a bunch of rude people.. unreal bro, just unreal.. I feel ya.

@404ERROR it is really sad, that, some people look at TWS only as a meat market. Sad thing is, how you really know anything about someone, besides, they are text? It is a reflection of our society, and how we use tech. I heard Janet say something with so much wisdom, she said something like, we have now the tech and internet to better ourselves. She is right, we so do, but we still live in ignorance.. wise world from a wise person, she is.

Unpopular opinion but I think chatting sites actually make you more introverted. You kind of get addicted to it, meet people online and talk with them and slowly your whole life revolves around those online friends. You stop going out, stop meeting new people at social events and that slowly impacts your communication skills.
While chatting sites like these are fun, they, like everything else, should be only used within limits. Your real life is what matters the most. Unless you go out with friends, go to events, and meet people offline, you are never going to improve your conversational skills. Go to the grocery store, and pick up a small talk with the cashier. Ask how the day was for the taxi driver when returning home. Appreciate the dog and pick-up a small talk about pets with the random person on the street walking their dog. Small steps like these prove to be droplets of water in the ocean towards your ultimate goal of improving conversation skills, both offline and online.

@404ERROR just do it. That’s all you need to do. I recommend just not caring what others think.
-
@Aira I think I’m best at writing. Remember your online friends are at the end of the day real friends. They are people. It doesn’t matter if you ever see them. They can still be there for you.
-
I recommend coming to this site with a plan. It’s easier to get people involved if you have something to offer.
-
@Kyle-Norwood No that's not true. People you meet here, very rarely would actually end up being real life friends. If it has happened for you, you are lucky :)
-
@Aira remember: my basic theme was that in the end of all this there is no real difference.
-
@404ERROR If that’s a girl, just grab her ass and say anything random.
-
@Vlad_21 Although not very much agree with the idea but still wanna know that how could you grab someone's ass in an online chat?
-
@404ERROR Then just say you gonna grab her ass.

@404ERROR said in Advice for Introvert on how to talk with strangers and friends.:
i.e., many Introverts want to know how to have or start a smooth conversation with a stranger or even a friend.
Don't confuse introversion and shyness. Not all introverts are shy and not all shy person are introverts. A shy person is afraid to socialize, an introvert prefers not to. Introvert is emotionally exhausted by long social interactions and small talk. They are happy with just a few close friends who understand their desire for alone time.
-
@404ERROR just say hi and try to mingle with the topics 😏
Why we have to label ourself as "introvert" or "extrovert". We can be whatever we want, dude. -

If the friendship goes really well then it is okay to migrate to more personal platform. I have become online friends with people all over the world from various social networking platforms. And I have brought some of them into real life.

@kaia_ You're lucky! Most people I meet here haven't had success with online friendships, so I know for a fact that the chances are quite low. SoI am glad it worked out well for you :)

Every friend was once a stranger 😊

@AXES yep, this is so relatable TT. The first time I tried random chat and voice chat as well made me think if I'm in an interview because it seems so in the way they repeatedly ask u that.
