@G-G
Hi. I am sorry to hear about that.
How about you follow and let's discuss; provide you with some words of encouragement. Take care.
Why do you think healthcare is so expensive now?
-
I would be naive if I believed that the government and related institutions all over the world aren't making up for their losses due to this crisis. But I also believe it's also a strategy to make people afraid enough to stop being stupid and be more alert and responsible. What do you think?
-
Responsibility and vigilance is just rubbish .. No one is safe from the fact that you can be hit by an ordinary cyclist .. This is a simple example .. Go to your doctor, get treatment and look at the bill at the end .. But this is just an accident and not a systemic disease . Be prepared for a heart attack or cancer? do not make me laugh...
-
Healthcare is not expensive. Only in the US. Look at europe, there you see how healthcare can be.
-
@AliceBrent3 Hello there, welcome to TWS lolz
also would you like to pm/dm?
-
I live in Canada, pay more tax, my employer pays for most extra costs so I really don't worry about it tbh. Don't go to your dr unless you actually have something serious. Stay home if you have a cold
-
@Dark_Dastan we too pay quite a bit for our health and dental benefits and we also pay for these in the taxes we pay, theres a myth that healthcare in canada is free, lol nothing in life is free tho
-
@Dark_Dastan over all fear of dieng.. and imprinted in our brain to be healthy!! How no one knows ??

I concede, we can't generalise about being safe from all hazards. But there's things we can control. And we can live well knowing everything else will be perfect. It isn't obviously. Mostly. But there's a small difference between being cautious and responsible and, being paranoid and too rigid. Now, a person living a cautious and healthy life is less susceptible to ailments, and that's a fact, though not entirely immune. However, what you're talking about can happen to anyone. But it's also quid pro quo. You be careless, you pay for it. It's survival of the fittest!

@David2711 In Asia too, my good sir. There's a lot of countries other than the US. There's places that have facilities hours or days away. Getting there's a struggle. Being ripped off then is another.

Well that's great, mate! But think about it this way... Can you afford the COVID treatment for your whole family rn (God forbid)? With whatever you earn?
-
@Heinz It never is mate. I think the cost of saving lives is aptly high enough. Maybe we underestimate the risks involved.
-
@knownsense Basic instinct mate. All of this makes us responsible too. But there's several ways of looking at it.
-
@Dark_Dastan I know. Just the US is a very good example for a not existing health care. Only the rich have the opportunity.
But germany has developed the social system back in the 19th century ;) -
@Dark_Dastan there is no treatment currently but free hospital stay I don't pay for anything that way upfront in Canada or after. Sure taxes but way better then tens of thousands of dollars
-
There's no such thing as free healthcare in this world. In Indonesia universal healthcare using fee based scheme. It’s like insurance but with much more affordable monthly fee. It’s semi mandatory. The monthly fees for the poor will be paid by the government. The rest of us must pay it through witholding system for employees, or we pay it ourselves of we're non employees.
-
It’s called medical mafia😕
-
@kaia_ we have health scheme which cannot cover all drugs and health care problem. it very expensive
-
@RESTLAW It happened in certain cases, but at least we shouldn’t pay the entire amount. And still we can participate to help those in need. This is what we call mental revolution.
-
@kaia_ can we chat in pvt to know more on your research?
-
@David2711 Yeah. I checked it out. Hadn't known before. Thanks mate!
