What would you choose, living a real life with severe pains , or living in toxic illusion?

@Greymatter severe pain because I will not get over the pain by pretending it isn't there.

@Greymatter Living in severe pain can make a person more strong and resilient if he have a realistic and fit mind.But a person suffering from having toxic illusion can't have a healthy mind probably because he is suffering from severe pessimism or paranoia and that kind of peson tends to be much more suicidal so i will choose to live in severe pain with a strong mind.
