Just curious if any one in LGBTQ community have experienced gaslighting, abuse be it physical, emotional or threats. Jeluous & controlling behaviour. Suspicious & manipulative? Did you develop any particular issues from it, such as PTSD? Or how did you deal with it?

I am sorry to hear this is happening to you. you do not deserve this. As for the question of why you, it is probably because of your quietness that makes you a target especially if you're alone often. you are quiet and therefore easier than someone who let's say is more likely to resist or scream and fight. I am afraid I can't tell you specifically why they chose to hurt you. hurt people hurt people. which is not an excuse or fair but sadly it happens all the time. I hope you can get away from this situation either through time or intervention. I know it is hard, but if you can find someone you trust ask them to help you. you do not have to solve this on your own. it's nearly impossible to do that. And it is for sure not your fault. you deserve to be left alone and be happy. I hope this helps.

@spaceboy As of now the only thing's they really have for PTSD is to do therapy and also I tried TMS which is transcranial magnetic stimulation but right now they only have the one approved to treat some symptoms of it not all it's also used to help OCD. So as caesar said some people don't get nearly as traumatized to the point it's crippling and some people actually do which it's not something you can just get over. It's not something you can just brush off. Also some people who have been attacked by dog's in their childhood never want to have a dog because of that reason. As I said PTSD affects everyone differently. If a parent loses their child by death that isn't something someone just gets over and brushes off as an experience. It sticks with you forever.
