I'm definitely a mountain person so yes I'll go for hiking. Damn the joy it gives when you reach the top and the view...so serene and alluring!

I climb Snowdon or Ben Nevis on a yearly basis. The other hikers tend to sneer at me because at the top I get busy drinking beer. Also, that fence with thousands of five pence pieces embedded in it? It's always about £5 lighter by the time I go back down.

@Anastasia-Smith I'd lie on a beach, any day! One of the BEST naps I've ever taken was on a bed of smooth rounded rocks on a beach on Lake Michigan. And I don't care for mountains, even though I'm currently a mile high up one, now. In the USA. Not Canada. Though I've lived in Canada, too.

If I lay down on the beach, I'll get tanned quickly. Therefore, I would prefer hiking mountain rather than laying on the beach. I would like to meet with different animals, plants, trails etc.
