Your loss is great and the grief, natural; for the departure of the ones dear to us could be overwhelming. The person passes on to another world but the experiences shared with them, they could be preserved, your experiences with them are the ones which shape your memories and emotions attached with your dear departed.
Take solace in the memories you shared with him, cherish the times you spent together and honor the learnings which you were able to learn from him.
I remember a couple of your posts from several months ago. You might want to revisit them as they were positive and serene.
