um so i just got a huge new pet.

he's a 60 lb 9 year old sulcate tortoise, and his name is Nazgul. I adopted him yesterday from the humane society. his previous owners had to give him up because he grew too large for their apartment. guys, please, if you get a sulcate please do your research, this applies to all pets. sulcatas can grow heavier than 200 lbs, and they need lots of land to roam. I have plenty of land for him to roam around, and he is now in his forever home. but please guys, don't get sulcatas expecting them to stay the size you got them as. I hope this came as a good lesson to any who are considering getting one or just any pet in general.
oh and P.S. he wiggles his butt when he gets shell rubs :3 -
