Inviting applications for the post of Global Moderator IV

Dear TWS users this is to inform you that we are in need of moderators so our community is well moderated and in the time of need users can seek help.

As done in the previous calls, the new moderators for the people will be chosen by the people.

A set of viable candidates will be selected by us and people will vote for the final mods.

We are in need of 3 new moderators.

Requirements:

• 1000 reputation / 5 months old user, based in American, European, African Time zones. (This will be changed according to the need of mods. Currently we need mods from European, American and African time zones)

• He/She needs to be active.

• He/She needs to be well aware of the rules of the community.

• He/She needs to have good content. i.e good topic's or replies.

It is preferable that people apply for themselves instead of their friends nominating them.

We have used the methods that have made the voting anonymous so users can vote whomever they want, in the given set of candidates

To whom it may concern: I just wanna know if direct message voting is necessary aside from the downvote process of voting.. Are we still casting dm voting ? if yes I hope @Global-Moderators will make it more transparent to show the public who dm them to cast votes to whom and for whom.. If no, we only automatically focus on the poll..

I wanna know twsians decision to this matter..Pls feel free to state your opinion. :-)

@Bela-Hella Persnally I don't think DM votes should be counted.
My reasons for this are,

1. It's not transparent
2. Votes should come from active users ( or at least users that visit the site sometimes )
3. Anyone can claim to have votes and use anonymity as a shield to hide who (if any) was the voter

This rules out the possibility of the community saying You favour this user or that user
As mods we are members of the community, but we are also gaurdians of the community. (Unpaid I mihgt add for those who don't know lol)
As a result I just don't think it's right for us to vote

Dear @Zoob ,
I take the nomination i received and give it to Mr. Antonio, because he's a born leader, an honest and loyal person, he loves babies and puppies (ofc, hes canadian, they always nice) and he's absolutely not corrupt. If i were to choose, i wouldnt even think one second and make this great man my Leader! <3 Give him all the support and upvotes, he deserved iiiiiit. <3
