just out of curiosity who else doesnt really like superhero movies? I personally dont like action in general but superhero movies are generally all the same
1 theres a bad guy whos trying to take over the world
2 there are the good guys
3 the good guys fight bad guys and always win
you need to realize that your in control of your own destiny nothing is decided for you

imo it would probably be smart to just be upfront and tell him about the rumor. just be like "hey there's a rumor about me liking you but it's bullshit, we cool tho?"
it might be a bit awkward, but at least that way he'd hear it from you first and those rumors wouldn't ruin your friendship :D
