How much control do we really have?

How much control do you think we have over our lives? Do you think where you live, the job you have, and money you make all had to do with the work you put in and how much you persevere? Or do you think there is nothing you can do and that it is all set in stone when you’re born?

@TheGoldenMole I'd like to believe that we are the captain of our soul but not a master of our fate :)
Even the tiniest decisions we have in ourlives had an impact to our future, but sometimes fate wants to play games with us. There are times that it seems to be cruel and unfair, storms will shake us and try to drown us but you have to keep your hands on the steering wheel just to keep forward and stay afloat.

I think there is a little bit of both!
There are parts/events in life that are set in stone, let's call them... milestones, but the trip towards those milestones are all about how you wanna live it. Our ultimate milestone is death since no matter how much you fight it, you will end up being caugh up! :shrug:

I firmly believe that you have to work hard for you to succeed and survived. You can't always depend your life on fate. What will happen then if you will just wait for fate to work on your life?

Milestones are things you can't change no matter how much you try I guess. This subject always makes me wonder cuz I know for sure some things are meant to be and can't be changed but I'm pretty sure others can be changed I just can't really tell which ones are each other 😅
