Does anyone believe in finding true friendship online? (First TWS post)

I am using TWS for almost a year but never ended finding friends. 90 percent people i interacted were male, some telling and some acting to be females. I always saw people talking about 'sex' here all the time. What about your experience?

YES, I’ve talked to a guy on skype for half a year now and he’s one of the most close person in my life now. Put effort into it and you’ll get a hood result

my brother has a girlfriend from interacting online, that might be possible if both live in the same country

Hi there and nice to meet (sort of lol)
I’ve not been here long and to be honest the sex stuff does me in. When you got specific dating sites, etc .
In my time here so far I’ve met some great people, had a good laugh and (despite what some say) managed to find a few genuine people that are becoming really good friends (i dont need to tag who you guys are because if you read this you know who you are)Like everything you get twats, fakers, wrongens and more.... I find that to start, at least , take people as you find them. If they lie about themselves their not worth it anyway.

Nope. You might find a friend and you might be good friend for a year, maybe two. But eventually the duties of life swallow up the time either of you have and you end up talking less and less until they disappear from your life.

@Ahshsnsjsksnhs I haven't been on here long enough to speak in absolutes, but I have had many meaningful conversations with men and women, and have ongoing friendships with a few people. You get out what you put in.
If you start your chats with "M or F" then don't expect much. But if you ask how the other person is doing, listen to their responses and take an interest in them, you will be surprised at what happens.
