i believe there's a plan for our life, and that, no matter the choices we make, the outcome was already made for us beforehand. so there isn't luck, although you can certainly call circumstances lucky or unlucky, but in the end, it comes down to you. coz of course, you can let yourself go and be a piece of shit, but that was the plan. and on the other hand, you can be famous and the best person out there, but that was the plan in the first place.
Is it worse to fail at something or never attempt it in the first place?

Tell me your opinions.

@hermes I guess it just depends on how the big task is. If there is a small risk involved and there is a chance that you might succeed in it, its worth giving a shot and even if you fail at it, you come out as a more learned person.
But if there's a bigger risk and its almost certain you might not be able to do it, its better to first do small things and make yourself better and then attempt the big thing. Attempting and then failing at a task( which you were almost certain to fail already), is sheer stupidity and it gives nothing but fear, disappointment and lower self confidence. -

Exactly my point!!! -
@kimmy159 I'd say on top of that, never be afraid to fail, because it could paralyze you into inaction, and you'll never know what you like, if you're not willing to explore things you wouldn't normally try.
