A philosophical question,

I don't believe we were created by a higher being. Such a thing just doesn't make sense to me. Evolution seems like the more logical answer, but tbh I've never really given much thought about where we originate from. It never really seemed that important to me. What I care more about is what we are supposed to do, our purpose per say and I've yet to figure it out myself.

@mcurie I like your answer Curie, I agree that you shouldn't put something off to God just because humanity hasn't found the answer yet. Humans have a long way to go to find the answers they crave but you will never get there if you ask a God to find the answers for you

@joewindsurf that is a good question Joe, one that is very hard to answer! If that were the case, would matter have some form of being even at the most fundamental level? Would that mean that the universe itself is one big system with a consciousness that we may never understand? That is a good question to ponder Joe, thank you for your reply
