If you have to think about it. They are not "the one."
Since my wife died I have told my friends this. I'm not looking for anyone. I'm not against finding anyone, but I am not actively looking. If by chance I happen to wake up in several years and she is still in my bed then I guess I have found someone. However if ever wonder wether or not I am in a relationship or wether or not it's working then it most definitely is NOT. As in not going to happen. If I am lucky enough to have another serious relationship you can damn well bet that there's no way one single iota of drama or BS will be part of it. Bring it and you will be as gone as yesterday's sunrise.
Life is fleeting and short. You are only going to have 1 chance at it. So make the best of it and be happy.

@theKing the wisdom comes from the knowledge that was gained as well as how it was acquired and how it's used. I didn't mean that problems make you better, but they should give you some insight towards the appropriate response to eliminate the problem.
No that's not what I meant either.
The wisdom comes from the knowledge that you gain when you deal with the problem, however you choose to do so.

@theKing but as you said in your last sentence. "Problems change you". Unless they are complete idiots they should at least realize that they are unable to resolve the problem. That alone is knowledge.

@Alan-Blake I believe that it should make them wiser. At least if they learn anything from solving the problem.
How you deal with the problems that life throws your way helps to define who you are as a person. Problems are one of the tools that God (my opinion) uses to mold your persona.

I generally don't lie. I. Have however learned that certain people can't handle the truth and some people don't deserve the pain that the truth would bring. But in my relationship I am 100% truthful and honest. I dearly miss my wife. I might not have always volunteered information but if she asked me I would tell her honestly. Also if she was going to hear it from anyone she would hear it from me first.

@DarkIce69 when you get sick and nervous whenever that person is not around and you think about them.
Love is caring and respecting someone irregardless of differences and doing what you can to improve their life or situation. Listening and spending time is a joy and not a task. Empathy not sympathy. Doing your best to make their heart smile as often as appropriate.

Cat think that they are superior however pound per pound the dog (as long as it is not deterred by the first scratch) can easily kill the cat with 1 bite. As a general rule dogs display more intelligence. This is not to say that cats are not intelligent because they are. In fact they are so intelligent they can't be bothered by our human request for them to show any....
If everyone had the heart of a dog the world would be a better place.
