Hello all,

Since @ODIN, we didn't have a formal Admin. @ObviouslyLucifer did a great job helping users and mods after him, but as life happens there is a time to move on. This brings us to @Morf, he has been a critical help in the background. He has been providing useful feedback about our various products and has been a good helping hand in improving the user experience for everyone even before he was a mod.

As before he will be:

• Selecting Mods
• Working with Mods
• Driving the growth of TWS
• Inviting new users
• Building a community culture so new users know how to enjoy while respecting others
• Banning & Unbanning users (along with global mods)
• @Global-Moderators will consult with him regarding big decisions
• Users can tell any bugs or issues to him and he will try to help the users himself and will convey to us if needed.

Our Admin @Morf will be handling all other aspects of community with close communication with all users. This gives us, the development team breathing space to work on the features and tools to help you enjoy TWS.

Congratulations @Morf, lead us to become a better community!

Hence based on a number of suggestions by lovely strangers here, we have finally made a very exciting and cool feature for you all.

Random 1-1 Voice Calls, Try Now!

What is it and how it works?

1. Once you visit https://talkwithstranger.com/voice-call, just wait for few seconds and we will connect you with someone random to do voice call.

2. If you don't find any partner, hit reload button. (This is very new feature so please expect some delay in getting users attention.)

3. This is a beta feature too, so if you find any bugs/issues, please report to us, or mail on [email protected], or let the @Global-Moderators know. They are a huge helping hand in running TWS!

Will the Voice Calls work on Android & Iphones?

YES, voice calls work on mobile when you 'Request desktop version' of our site ;)

@SynapticSeizure great feedback.. probably the last time when u waited for 5 min, it was probably that because the other person might have gone, that's why u didnt get him back for over 5 min.

A number of users were saying , site keeps randomly disconnecting on random chat. We have fixed this problem... after a lot of hard work.

Can you all please try to go on https://talkwithstranger.com/talk-to-strangers?ver=2.31145 and random chat with someone for long time and see if it says connectivity issues, stay on same page, it will reconnect you with your partner.

We can add these. Can you get a topic going around who is needs to be awarded these. Polls or something. Up to the community to pick. Not sure how old users were picked. Ragner took the lead last time. May be Div be our awards nominator considering how he created previous ones.

@Duck We have seen sufficient proof. You're free to ban this guy when you're sure about him. One clear clue is that he uses disposable emails.

@Bela-Hella @Lucid-dreamer Image is basically the badge, we can use the similar medals or it can be any other type picture like a crown or cup. All up to our imagination. Here are some other examples.

We are happy to announce that we've fixed the issues with Awards functionality. Thanks to Bela for pushing us and inspired by Div's creativity around trying to have awards via groups.

Awards Intro
For those who don't know what awards are. Awards is a system for rewarding top community users. It allows us to define set of awards that could be granted to users for special accomplishments.

• Awards can be accessed at https://chatrooms.talkwithstranger.com/awards

• They are visible on user profiles e.g
  

• User posts on all topics and posts.

How to suggest
For suggesting a new Award you need to suggest following 3 things.

• Name

• Image

• Description

We can use this topic for discussion around new Awards and People who need to be awarded.
