RE: Do you think abortion should be legal or illegal? and WHY?
I feel like I too late into the game but here's my opinion.
The abortion should be allowed in the case of unconventional pregnancy (rape, incest, or if the mother's child) or if the mother's life is at stake.
Excluding that, for all the other cases there are a few of things that we must consider.
- Is the mother willing to take of taking care of the baby?
If she is unwilling, then most probably the child would grow up to be abused and unloved. In the worst case scenario, the baby would die in the early childhood. If the mother is unwilling, someone close preferably someone blood-related should be willing to take care of it. If not, the child is just going to have a hard time during its childhood which will lead to depression and other issues in its adulthood.
- Is the State capable enough to properly raise a child?
If no one is willing/capable to raise the baby, then the state should take care of it and raise it and when I say properly, it means not just throwing them together with a bunch of other kids and just give them food and education. They must be able to analyze the needs and dreams of every individual child and at least give them means to cultivate them. They must also make sure that the child doesn't feel any loneliness and isolation.
if the answer to both the questions is false, then the abortion must be allowed for the sake of the child.

RE: Do you think abortion should be legal or illegal? and WHY?
@khai pardon? From your statement, I get that meaning that a victim has to go through months of hatred and pain just to give away the baby and get a lifetime of regret in return.
You really have to choose between a moment of hesitation and a lifetime of regret.
Once you have that baby, the Mother simply can't abandon it without having regret. In the case of abortion, how many people are out there who regret this decision? Are you sure the baby would grow up feeling loved and happy? Are you sure that it would be happy in its adulthood? If yes, only then giving them away could be even considered as an option. If no, then abortion is better for the sake of the baby. Why should it suffer for your mistakes/decisions?

RE: Do you think abortion should be legal or illegal? and WHY?
@khai Okay. What if you choose to keep the baby?
Do you think the child would not wonder about his biological father? What if he finds out about his real father? If they somehow got their father's name, it means that he would be living with a mark of shame for a very long time. They would be witnessing his mother's trauma. It would affect them in two ways. They would either get really depressed or they would get really enraged and they may even try to seek revenge. It means that no matter what, all they get is despair.
It would even be worse if the mother starts to despise the child because it reminds her of its rapist father and the trauma she endured. What did he/she do to live a life full of despair?
I must accept that there are exceptions to these but that doesn't mean everyone's an exception. It only fair to present abortion as an option to the mother instead of just forcing her to have the baby.

RE: Do you think abortion should be legal or illegal? and WHY?
how would you know that what theyll have is only a lifetime of regret
Because even though she had to suffer while being raped and while she caring her baby, she had to give it up. She had to give up her baby. Her flesh and bones.
I must accept that some may not regret it but still
I must accept that there are exceptions to these but that doesn't mean everyone's an exception.

RE: Share your problems with Sir Devil
@alwaysstranger What I trying to say was that after a certain point, banning someone would become useless. He would just come back one way or another. At this point, there's little one can do. Even something like YouTube can't do much if someone decides to do that. The best example for that would be Keemstar. He was racist, toxic and even did things like swatting. He was banned by YouTube for this and within a month he just created a new account. YouTube banned it too. In response, he just created another account and so this cycle continued for a while, till he found a way to abuse a loophole in their policy and stopped that account from being banned.

RE: Share your problems with Sir Devil
@ttls Not really. I wouldn't really recommend it. While they cheated on you, they knew that they were doing wrong to you and also that you would be hurt but they did it anyway. They did it while fully knowing that you would be hurt.
and due to them cheating on you, it is fair to assume that they are only after sex. If not, they would have valued your relationship more or at least, have the decency to break up and cut ties, before hooking up with another person.
And finally, Since they had already cheated on you before, there's no assurance that they would not do it again in the future.
So, if you want to give them a chance, consider these things and make a decision.
In other words, you can give them a chance, if you completely trust them and the reason they gave you for cheating on you, -
RE: Would you rather be famous when you are alive and forgotten when you die or unknown when you are alive but famous after you die?
@jynextremist It's supposed to be poetic. Some would like to be remembered for a long time and not be forgotten. The reasons may vary. For me, it would be something like to leave a mark and show that I, as a person lived and did something that makes people remember me. It's something like immortalising my Identity.
