@Benjamin-Edwards so sorry for your loss, you can cry it all out and talk more about it if you want to. I am also suicidal so I guess I know how your friend truely feels and its not easy indeed. It's also hard to express yourself since you said you are a social hermit but for me, I guess the best way to let your pain all out is to have someone you can trust to talk to. You have your family there to support you as well, maybe try to find someone too. You really need to talk to someone who is trustworthy and capable of listening and understanding all your hurts as it eases your pain. If things get worse, you can always seek help from a professional since they know best. I hope this helps.
