SELF CARE TIMEEE....π π§ββοΈπββοΈ
Hey there!
Self-care is the best choice to engage in the activities that are required to maintain an optimal level of overall health. Overall health includes physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual health of a person.
So, today I'm going to share some self care ideas for everyone that can be done during the lockdown to spend time in a effective way.
Self Care Ideas:
Sit somewhere in nature: As it is not allowed to go outside, you may sit in your garden, balcony or even terrace. But make sure, the place must be peaceful to you. Otherwise, it would be of no benefit. Personally, I prefer sitting on green grass, surrounded with colorful flowers and birds singing melodies around. This creates a beautiful environment and spreads positive vibes. Make sure, the place must not be confined, it should be well ventilated or open. The fresh air and beautiful scenery helps to relax the mind.
Home spa time: As we all know, spa detoxifies the whole body. But during lockdown, it is not possible to get an spa appointment. Here, the only option left is Home Spa. You can do yourself an oil massage with any Massage Oils like the Mustard Oil or Coconut Oil. As for the hot steam bath, geyser may serve as a boon. Prepare the hot water for the bath before the massage, as you may feel Oily after it. Although, this may not be as effective as spa, you may feel a little better than usual.
Mindfulness: By taking long and deep breaths, our body gets oxygenated. This reduces the tension as well as refreshes your energy. If you are new to all this, then checkout some videos related to meditation. At first, you may not be able to concentrate due to the distractions around. But soon, you will get used to this practice and get better at it. If possible, put a beautiful background music so that you feel peaceful.
Take a nap: Short naps during day boost up your energy. Sleep in a comfortable position and in a comfortable place. Make sure you feel no stress at all. Try to reduce the distractions around you, so that you have a peaceful sleep.
Do yoga: Yoga is the best way to keep fit during lock down. It includes all sorts of stretches and movements. This way, we will feel energetic and stop feeling lazy. We should exercise daily during, even after the lockdown ends.
