What’s the thing you like the most about yourself?

Either a sudden inspiration or finally understanding what previously seemed unclear, ‘a-ha’ moments are those that get us over the bump in the road where we were stuck, or simply an useless, funny realization. My most recent one is realizing that “this little piggy went to the market” probably does not mean it went grocery shopping 🤣

@A-S-H-I-S-H happiness is the least permanent state of mind, it is rare and doesn’t last. Of course is important to be happy with ourselves, but, for me, that is being balanced, self confident, content. Happiness as you described it, when all that’s sad and hurtful disappears and you feel like you can take over the world, is short. Most beautiful feeling in the world, but not permanent.

Someone asked me this today, and I don’t know. And what is ordinary afterall? what makes our life extraordinary?

Unfortunately everyone wants the same basic things, we are predictable like that, us, humans. Maybe if they are very lucky, some get to be different, but only for a short lived moment of excellence.

@CarmenSensus fascinating how so few words can say so explicitly much.

@A-S-H-I-S-H Sometimes another person can make you feel like the happiest human on the planet, especially during those first moments of falling in love, when our brain is biologically wired into seeing the other one as perfect.

@CarmenSensus it’s good to be heart broken, one comes to appreciate all things that make us feel that alive, and that’s definitely top 3 😊

I was lucky enough to have several such moments - most of them related to my job and my passion (dogs) and some of them related to, well, men lol

@Asad-Ali-0 🤣🤣 well mine was the opposite yesterday, when someone told me it’s mainly a sex chatting site but there are some people who just hang and talk 🤣 so I guess to each it’s own lol

@Ash005 Well, from his POV it was a sexting site so no harm done actually, it’s better to have things cleared up from the beginning lol

@Johnnyy it’s nice to spend a second once in a while to think about our qualities, and I was curious how others see themselves, because I sometimes enjoy more my flaws than what is generally viewed as a quality :)
