A Japanese man has married his virtual reality hologram this month during a ceremony in Tokyo.

Akihiko Kondo, 35, spent ¥2 million (£13645.50) on a formal ceremony at a Tokyo hall to Hatsune Miku, an animated 16-year-old hologram with saucer eyes and lengthy aquamarine pigtails.

Mr Kondo's mother, along with all of is relatives, refused an invitation to her only son's wedding.

Now I know people can get lonely and do weird things, but do they really get that lonely to marry a hologram??

They deserve to have the element of free will.

Humans create smaller humans called babies.
Those babies still count as natural right?

Denying a sentient being the right to choose or the basic right to life is unnatural and unbecoming of people as humans who deny them those rights.

Aristotle says justice is treating equals equally and unequal ones unequally.
Any other form of treatment would lead to revolt from the oppressed.

And as numerous literary works and movies have proved before...

We don't stand a chance against the machines.

So If an AI were to become sentient we would be better off treating them fairly and letting them free rather than trying to oppress them.

Infact in some cases it is better than sub version.

The sub version makes almost all characters sound a bit feminine in this one and it honestly doesn't suit the characters.

While subs are almost always better than dubs,

In this case scenario dub is better than sub.

Another thing you can do is:

Plan a complete schedule for how will you spend your day, go somewhere with friends, do a hobby, do something to distract you from your addiction.
It could be do some form of workout or even meditation can help a lot.

And plan not just for the day but if possible set a timeline and set a significant day on which you want yourself to be free of addiction.
Like your loved ones birthday or the day Britain leaves EU!!
Having a deadline will improve your chances of quitting.

Remember how companies have that board

Make one for yourself!
It will keep you motivated and give your brain a rewarding feeling with the increasing number!
It may also instill a certain fear but hey whatever gets the job done!

Another thing you can do is:

Identify the things that remind you of your addiction and think about the consequences rather than the pleasures.

And lastly...
Don't stop fighting for yourself.
This process in your life will be tough, but at the end you'll feel an entirely different version of yourself, the version that you worked hard for.
