Had my first (and possibly LAST) cupping session the other day. One more "treatment" to offer some relief for an ailing back. Several have asked about how it went, and this should give a good idea. If you've ever had this done, I hope it went better for you. Hard to imagine but some actually ENJOY this. And, yes, it was and is about as painful as it looks.

Green Day Monday? (...but on Tuesday)
Well...sort of. During lock-down BJ's been staying busy, that's for sure. Another of the recent covers, and a pretty darn good cover, IMO.
Panicland showed us what Green Day SHOULD Be. BJ is showing us what Green Day COULD be, and that ain't bad at all. -
Introducing HAMOS!!
Finally! Got some pics off my phone, at last, and one of the first things I wanted to do was share a pic of my little buddy HAMOS!
He's a Djungarian Dwarf Hamster, and he is the coolest rodent pal I've every had! He knows his name, and he eats a LOT, and he has a BIG home and gets to come out a LOT and run around and roll in his hamster ball. Great to finally get to introduce him! Any other friends of rodents around? :thinking:HAMOS really likes oatmeal cookies, if they're only his sized bits. :smirk:

RE: Inviting applications for the post of Global Moderator V
@Lilitler You'd be a good choice, and putting in time as Live Mod should give you a leg up. Doesn't sound unrealistic at all, to me. Much luck!

A Recipe Share!!
This is a recipe of mine that was published in a cookbook while I lived in California. With Autumn fast approaching, thought some might find this handy, and tasty. Enjoy!
p.s. I don't know why it looks the way it does. I just copied it from the email I submitted for publication.

How Safe Do You Feel?
The virus is still a concern, for many around the world. Some places still locked-down, others slowly starting to re-open. So, I'm wondering, just how SAFE do you feel, where you are/where you live? Do you think somewhere else is safer, and if so where, and why? Opinions welcome.

So, another typical night in the Rockies. Just finished up grilling some good-good seasoned chicken. That's when the POD PEOPLE came...
And while I was asleep, stuffed into a POD, they turned my chicken into this!!

For The Vibe Tribe # 61
The weekend isn't quite over. Still remains the better part of another Sunday. A day of rest. Hopefully a day of some peace. A good day to chill. It was stormy, here, today. High winds, dark skies. And rain, and rain. Hopes for a sunnier Sunday for you. Stay safe, be well, relax, and vibe on. :om:

Leftover Tuesday
Who says leftovers have to be dreadful? As hectic as things have been, at home, lately, the other night was spent making up several of my mom's special recipes, and today's lunch was made up of those leftovers.
What's on the leftovers menu? Fried rice, with bacon and white onion, topped with pickled ginger. Mom's Gyoza, which most would associate with "pot-stickers" or dumplings, only mom's recipe calls for beef instead of pork or chicken, and I use napa cabbage, as no-one in Colorado seems to even know what celery cabbage is. Gyoza sauce is equal parts white vinegar, soy, and prepared Coleman's mustard. Anything but, and it's just not the same. Tempura pork, cutlets pounded thin, then batter dipped, then deep fried. The sauce is equal parts white vinegar, soy and sugar. Not nearly as good as my mom's, I'm sure, but still savory flavor favorites, even as Tuesday lunch leftovers!:+1:

For The Vibe Tribe # 97
Hello, world. I know I don't generally post this time of day. There are reasons I'm doing so, now. As of late a lot has been going on in my life. Not much of it pleasant, or expected, much of it the exact opposite. Situations within my control, and others out of my hands. Life has ways of twisting and turning, but it always continues on, and on. As with the phases of the moon, we all go through changes, phases, in our lives. It's a natural progression. Living is learning, growing, experiencing, changing, and maturing. I don't know what any of your phases are, or were, but I could make some good guesses. There are always fads, and fashions, current opinions, moods, styles, feelings, and attitudes that change in us, as we go through each stage of life, on our way to becoming whoever we will eventually be. Sometimes spectacular, and often heart-breaking, but all are experiences that linger, as parts of who we were, and help guide us into who we'll become. My advice? Never regret the phases you've gone through. Have no shame about who you may have been. All those earlier versions of you have led you to this point. Being exactly who you are, right now. And this current you is the most special person in the world. No matter the when, you'll always be the current you. As I've said, a number of life changes are happening for me. Decisions being made. Some by my choosing. Some will be chosen by others. All part of life, so I can't really complain, or be bitter. I've known many great moments, and some sad ones, too. I've at least managed some balance, between the two. I've been doing a lot of deep, real, soul-searching, these past days. I feel the pull of choices starting to draw ever closer. One day I'll be someone else, and won't find myself in the same situations or circumstances. I hope I like the me I'll become. I'm not much liking this me, or the life I currently find myself residing in. But, I know it's going to be alright, I'm just going through a phase. Stay safe, follow your heart's dreams, never fear being who you will be. And always embrace the many phases of you that you have been. :om:
