I met great people online and have already had a platonic love with one of them (years ago). But be careful, internet is tricky because you're not with the person phisycally, so your opinion about someone in the internet is based on the perspective that the person lets you know. A soulmate is hard to find by internet. But I belive it is possible :)

I rather use TalkWithStranger, it's way more exciting talking with strangers that with people I talk with everyday :)

I think everyone gets shy for meeting a stranger at the real life first time.
But telling jokes is a good way to break the ice either to relief the anxiety.

@bunyonb That's explained by the fact of the facebook update, when you pass over a video, the video automatically starts running. That's really frustrating because you can't filter your preferences. For that I'd rather use youtube to watch my preferencial videos and I'm also able to chat with other people on livestreams.

@pe7erpark3r Yes, the poorest contries' leaders will not care if they are doing good or bad to the enviornment, they're only trying to make sure they keep a roof under their heads and have food (survive) at the end of the day. That is why the richest governments and people will have to give a hand to the climate crisis - They are the ones who, after reached a good and stable economy, will have the sensibility to care for the climate. China is sure on of the clearer examples and, since they (and americans) are the wealthest countries, they are the ones with the power and the experience to bring such tech and habits change to the tone.

As I understood from your words, the civilization growth is paired up with the process of polluting at short term. And, for that, the richest countries would have to invest in the smaller economies in order to they stabalize. But don't you think that with the rapid technological and economical growth, the pit between the poorest and the richest will be deepen? (I set this question because that was one of the things I read in a book from Yuval Noah Harari, among other futurologists..)

@roney1718 and @Lucifer_ I'm aware of that, it's simple to verify that, but I would like to see someone going further with the imagination and possible hypothesis to what comes to death, especially cultural and/or religious explanation.

Instead of saying "I want do die" try to say "I want to smile", you'll see everything is about perspective and positivity. I hope you even start to smile, because it's not that hard!

As for the people who are my closest I'd say nearly 50%. However, this is a very abstract concept which can not be measured, at all.

@cjko the fact a banana gets dark spots doesn't mean it is rot. I understand there's a whole stigma around the banana's dark spots, which states that it is rotten and you're likely to die if you put your mouth in it, but I actually like that and I'm still here alive.
