That depends on what "we" are. We is clearly a generalized term that represents nothing peculiar to one individual as opposed to another and so the question has to be brought back to a universal human standard.

With "we" being relating to persons, you can go with Descartes's "I think therefore I am" which is true among humanity. The "we" that is considered ourselves exists through thought and self-reflection.

Somehow for the sake of this forum, it's a "stupid question" in your opinion. It is in essence as it is the self reflection that answers itself.

@Lazz Water will become visible to a fish that's thrown on dry land. Water has a form whereas air does not. As far as practical concerns go, it is ignored underwater and as such can be "invisible"

@test_account I only made this post because "sexuality is unrelated to love" & "love should only occur between certain sexuality" seemed hypocrtical at face value & it just goes to show how hypocrisy can be generated by a sidewinding correlation between variables without knowledge of a central link.

@Katherine-k There is a lot of choice involved. Destiny is only valid from a hindsight view when you can say "it is the way it is because the world is the way it is(or was rather)". It's also ignoring the variables involved in why things turn out why they do to think in terms like that. It doesn't invalidate free choice or invalidate the value of subjectivity and ability to change yourself in a positive manner when you say that. Maybe when you say "whatever 'you' do" you're referring to the emotional level of a self unwilling to change through commitment or higher purpose.

I agree that you either create or stagnate/degenerate. People sometimes make the mistake of becoming insecure and trying to cling onto themselves.
