@Ash005 ya & noone wants a family-like relationship. It's just the insecure emos who want relationships online are greater in number & therefore make up the statistic of how successful these relationships are. LMAO

Ashes is kind of saying "fake it until you make it". Depression sort of underlies the decision making process & I have my doubts that depressed people are super motivated to lie to themselves repeatedly to normalize a "positive" condition when they see all the real problems in their lives which validate their condition to them. That's my take.

Because you're loyal/attached to something that went away and now looks like a lie. That's called pain. You're holding on to what should have been & it's already grown inside you but will now rot.
