Though on the other hand it is by helping others that you can actually help yourself The trick is finding that place/situation that is not soul sucking.

Heartless/pointless attack on a baby/animal. Sick. The witnesses that saw and kept silent are douchebags too. If I saw this I would be sitting in a jail cell with you Mike.

My nephew has taken on a terrible addiction. He has chosen this as a means of escape. He became quite depressed and instead of finding a way to pick himself up he has chosen a darker path.
How do I start a conversation with him about it? What would work best? So nervous to say anything (he's so closed now) but I must. Just need some encouragement. Thanks.
