Umbra: The fully shaded inner region of a shadow cast by an opaque object, especially the area on the earth or moon experiencing the total phase of an eclipse.
We, all of us feel something akin to this, at one time, or another, don't we? The innermost parts of ourselves surrounded by a certain darkness. An eclipse of the soul, or the heart. At those difficult and dark times remember, it's possible, and necessary to let in even a glimmer of light, and when you do, everything changes, and gets brighter.
