Cuz they dont care at all.(not all). But when a boy cares, he will make sure he wont hurt u, and if he do then he will ask for forgiveness and even make u happy. And those types are damn rare to find.

In some cases, they just don't know that. Boys are generally less emotional than girls. Hence, the things they say usually don't hurt other boys. So, they just assume that it won't girls too and even if you explain, they may not be matured enough to understand or they must be just plain stupid...
