I get what you are saying but it's hard to change the world alone, so instead of overthinking and losing sleep about it, it's better to think positive and hope that ppl will learn...

Not to be rude, but I don't think you get what I'm saying. If you did you would have asked for solutions that could reverse some of the damages and learn our mistakes, not ask for a new planet.

I'm not against you I just think alone nothing can be done and there isn't enough ppl that care enough, there's too much money involved!

Actually, there are a few things that can be done. Sadly, money is the center cause to almost all of the problems we face.

    • by 2030 half of the world's population will be living in area's where there isn't enough drinking water to go around

    • Mountain Gorilla, Amur Leopard, Hawksbill Turtle, Javan Rhinoceros,
Saola, South China Tiger, Vaquita, Sumatran Orangutan, Sumatran Elephant, and Pangolin. All of these animals may go extinct with in the next couple of decades, within the lifetime we are living now.

    • more than 90% of corals will die by 2050. If you don't know how serious and important that is, you're an idiot.

    • in the 1600 the worlds population was around 500 million, by 1900 it reached 1.6 billion (that's a 300 year difference) Today it is around 7.7 billion (that's only within 119 years) by 2050 population will have reached 9 billion.

I bet most of you didn't know some of the things I just listed. I bet all of you know who Kim Kardashian is. I don't mean to crap in anyones corn flakes, but I'm tired of seeing people interested or worrying about what other people think or what celebrities just broke up. People put too much care into sports, their looks, social media, etc. Don't worry about who is going to win the world cup, worry about the world your grandkids will be living in. Because the ground beneath your feet provides YOUR food, YOUR water, YOUR light, and it is crumbling and dying at your hands and you don't even care enough to know it.

Well sir, our sea food problem is caused by over fishing, yes, we over fish and we have been doing it for too long now.
We are currently experiencing a world water crisis, yet I bet no one knows, and it could be fixed easily if we all just cut down on water. Low flush toilets use about 1.6 gallons of water in one flush, 1.6 gallons is probably more water than any of us consume in one day but we let all that go to waste with one flush.
overhunting causes extinction, but whats worse is the more rare the animal, the more money it collects which means the more it will be hunted, which leads to extinction. Along with us destroying their habitats to build factories and shopping malls.
Other things like air pollution and deaths of coral reefs are caused by man made fossil fuel, driving cars, etc.

but what is probably worse of all, is that all of our governments know about this. Scientists know, it is on the internet, free for the public to discover. Yet citizens don't know, and the government doesn't want to sacrifice money that gas, sea food, and rare animals bring in. So we do nothing and move planets.

I think one of the reasons for this is greediness.. people want to get richer and richer.. they don't know the word satisfaction. I read an article about a fisherman from a simple village and a millionaire. In their conversation, the millionaire asked the fisherman why he took a rest after he got few fish from the sea while he can still get more and sell it to have a bigger income til he decided to finally stop because he saved enough money, then he can rest and spend time with family.. the fisherman replied to him that the fishes he got are enough for his family.

Or maybe it's a: - Let's try to learn with our mistakes and preserve earth as it is, so we can make it a better place for who still live here and make it more natural the transition to the "next planet"!

That is exactly why NASA spends billions on its Space Exploration Missions to find planets in Goldilocks Zones!

And they are not even a little bit close to finding a viable alternative, closest we come is Titan not Thanos's titan, the moon of Saturn "Titan".

    @Zen00 true..

I think humans are also responsible to the climate change..

Humans are the only reason for abnormal level of climate change!
United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in its 4th report clearly states that

"Warming of the climate system is unequivocal", and "most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations."

    @Zen00 said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

Sadly, money is the center cause to almost all of the problems we face.

Actually it is a money thing!

in 2012 196 countries agreed that climate change is man made and we have to do something to stop it, so they came together in Paris and signed "The Paris Agreement"

The Paris Agreement's long-term goal is to keep the increase in global average temperature to well below 2 °C above pre-industrial levels; and to limit the increase to 1.5 °C, since this would substantially reduce the risks and effects of climate change.

And right now the temperature has already increased by 1 °C as compared to pre-industrial levels.

So what room we have is of 0.5 °C .

    But here's the best part!

The countries agreed to reduce greenhouse gases and reduce pollution but couldn't agree on who would reduce how much of it.

So they all decided each one should do its best and they submitted what they called as "INDC = Intended Nationally Determined Contribution" and they stated measures as to how much of the emission will they cut, and how will they cut it and how they will reduce dependency on fossil fuels and move on to renewable sources of energy!

    Sounds nice right!

but here's the thing, even if all the countries do what they have promised the temperature rise will not stop below 1.5 °C . It will stop short of 2 °C, but it will cross 1.5 °C. and the effects of that will be catastrophic just like @Zen00 mentioned.

And here's the more funny part!

Countries are going back on even that!

US has officially withdrawn from Paris accords claiming that climate change is a hoax, the only other countries who haven't signed it are Syria and North Korea :face_with_rolling_eyes: .

US did it to protect its oil and coal industries.

At the same time the all the Developing nations and SIDS = Small Island Developing States made their INDC's on the promise that Developed Countries will help them financially and with technology transfers, but none of that is happening anytime soon, because its a lot of money (100 billion $ fund was promised!!).

So even if we pull a miracle and stop the temperature rise inside 1.5 °C , there will be a lot of death and destruction, millions will die of pollution, starvation, famines. And millions more will become refugees due to loss of their homeland.

Either way its going to be one hell of a ride!

@Zen00 our activities on Earth greatly affect the distribution of weather patterns..

I know we have a great affect on it, but it has been happening before we were here so I guess I didn't want us to also be the blame of that. But you are right, gosh, humans suck!!😂
