@Codyy Nah, uh
To lurk or not to lurk
-
Its an early decision
I think most people become contributors or lurkers depending upon their experience immediately after they create an account on a website like tws . So its very important that website and the community is designed to help new users contribute something (even if its just a comment or something they say publicly) and the user getting supportive feedback and encouragement from experienced members of the community.Note: The one thing that will surely put people to lurk mode is experienced members/admins being cocky and unfriendly to new users or downright ignoring them. So don't be aholes to new users, be nice to them, give them good feedback even if they screw up.
