have not tried it but i got curious and googled this question (might need it for future reference haha), other than asking the person directly to view his profile, a more "desperate" and sneakier way is to visit those ig photo viewer tools/site which will allow you to dl the persons photos but as per the very cautious author of the first article that popped and ive read on google (which you might probably also already seen), some of these are scams and are phishing for your personal info

@khai yeah, i know, i browsed through various searches and settled on asking someone who might have had experience doing so. many of them looked dodgy to me but i didn't know these softwares could actually phish out personal info! really?
