My Bf going to army, idk what to do?

So my bf is going into the army infantry, for 4 years, and its the foot soldier type of stuff. I'm not that good with knowing army stuff, I don't want to leave him, just because he's going. And while he's gone I'm going to be doing college, for about 4 years. My real wonder here, is how am I going to deal with it, I am already worried and he leaves in a few months.
