Caves are, for the longest time, a subconscious simbol of safety, shelter and relief for the human being, but also, paradoxically a simbol of mistery, danger and unnerving. It has fascinated and intrigued the human mind for ages, so I really think it is reasonable that most people and faiths have something related to caves.

Although my belief that saying that "God" and "Christ" did anything to resolve that situation is just being somewhat blind to the reality hasn't changed. some good christians helped, some bad christians made things worst. Motherly love normally is what I would normally define as true love. Even though some mothers does not possess it, it is the most Truthfull kind of love posible IMHO. There can be very truthful love when it cames to romantic relationship, But never as altruistic and wholesome as motherly love can be. We kinda have some sort of "safety lock" when it comes to loving someone else as much as we love ourselves, although most of the time we kinda lie to ourselves about it.

@uncledominique Well, this is a topic of discussion since the dawn of philosophy. Empirically though, I gotta say true happiness is as fierce as it is fleeting. It is really something, but not at all worth pursuing. You are most likely to experience mild satisfaction and suddens spikes in happiness than to experience true happiness. So it is according to some philosophers, and, so far, I can't really say they were wrong. Strive for not being unhappy other than being happy. True unhappiness is as fierce as it is lingering.
