You can hate someone as much as you can and the only one that is hurting is you.

Very important things that are missing from my life at the moment.

A spouse. Wife of 35 years died.
Being on stage.
Creating music and jamming with others.
A steady paycheck. I'm self employed.
Real friends. Not users.
A good reason to actually do anything besides just exist.

These things are part of who I am. My psyche so to speak.
They are missing from my life and that is taking its toll on my emotional well being and my outlook on life.

I thank you for the thought. Although I don't dwell on it or anything to the point of it being a problem. I do feel though it is things along these lines that help shape and make you who you are.
After all it's not the good or bad things that happen to you that define who you are but how you deal with those things.

I respectfully disagree. When you hurt yourself by hurting another and they have enough love for you to forgive you is a longer lasting deeper pain.
I have lost both best friend and spouse by betrayal and I definitely admit that is intensely painful. But right now sitting here thinking about that as well as the time I was the one causing the pain I have to say that I can still feel the hurt and confusion of my actions while any pain I felt from the betrayal is long gone

Never a problem Bela.
I had different outcomes from the times that occurred. The most poignant being that the girl really did love me but never quite knew how to express her feelings in a ? natural relationship kind of way.

When I was younger I would have said a.
But now that I have been through the latter I would have to say b.
That caused me to do a lot of thinking and evaluating just how strong the relationship was between us. Where as with the former all I had to do was get over it and find a logical reason why they did it.
