This is the opposite. I did the worst thing and I regret the hell out of it. One of my old/ex friends had been having a rough time then and told me they loved someone. Let's just say they didn't return to school for 3 months because of the harrasment and notes. I regret what I did, shut down all contact between us and stepped back, left her alone. I apologised and she ddin't accept it; which she had the right to do. I've learnt from it and moved on.
