Girl I told you not to be sad about yourself! The collar’s not even been off for a day

A bit different from my usual songs, but this is a classic and is so relevant for today. It’s hard to love, especially when you try loving someone who barely agrees with you.
But the simple fact is that what we all do today shapes the future of tomorrow. Peace cannot exist without love. Loveless peace is simply the calm before another storm.

Stay healthy, stay happy, and love one another.

An oldie and a goodie. I’ve seen how some people say about George Floyd, how they wouldn’t support the protest because he was a drug addict, or of his criminal past involving previous stunts in jail. Certainly Floyd wasn’t a “good man”, but it’s even worse to wait for the “right” Black American so you can comfortably protest. The purpose of the civil rights is to rid society’s views that one’s life holds more value than another.

It has been a week since the protests. The coming days are when the media and society will begin to stamp out “old news” in search of more exciting stories to keep their audiences hooked in. Please do not let the spirit of reform die.

All religions are created so that humanity can simultaneously connect with its community, it’s culture, and the nature that surrounds us all. No religion that is designed to spread terror lasts very long. Islam is a bit stricter than most religions, but I think we can all learn from the devotion of Muslims.
I myself am Christian, but I think the pilgrimage to Mecca is the greatest example on how a love beyond human understanding is the only way we humans can overlook the discriminations we face in the global world, such as race, ethnicity, financial background, royalty. It was enough to make Malcolm X radically change is entire lifestyle.

I’m not usually philosophical, more down to earth usually. But I think, in this season of turmoil, I think I can help my brothers and sisters out more than I try to satisfy my own pleasures. I’ll be posting videos, music, quotes, and whatever I think is good for the soul!

We gotta remember that world peace starts with us. We changed into violent looters; together we can change back.

I think society’s portrayal of sex is driving us apart. The media’s casual use of sex makes it both profane and sacred. Women treat the misuse of sex against them as one of the worst crimes imaginable (rape, harassment, the likes), but also use their sexuality whenever it suits their purpose.

There’s nothing quite like the experience of thinking you know a person who’s gonna stick with you through the thick and thin, and watching them leave you. People are such strange creatures. They can be so loyal and so loving, but you never know when the straw that breaks their back is gonna fall.

Strange enough the first thing that pops into my mind is “power”. Huh, weird

Some of you may not know me; I was once here under a different name, a different life entirely it seems. Those days seem so far behind me now. But now I’m back for a while and I’m gonna start afresh!
