But probably if I'm really in love, then I could put aside that he had already two divorces. If the guy is really fun and I Love him, well. Than a divorce mustn't be the problem, but hopefully the relationship with me will be longer than 4 years.

If he is not in for a date, than you could always say that you would like to hang out just as friends. (Hopefully in that way you could avoid awkward situations)

At my first date - with my recent boyfriend - I saw at his face that he would like to pay, for reasons that felt good for him.
Nowadays sometimes it's my turn to pay, other times it's his turn again. Actually it is just something we could discuss, and just talk about it. Very easy.
