It's all just a matter of perspective. When one is trying to be happy but can't freely express themselves then they think dying is easier because they can't just let it all out. It feels like there's nothing left in this world any more to live for as the main reason for all of this is sometimes just a little thing for someone else but on the other hand when one faces death they realize that there is much more to the life than what they were thinking and life is precious.
As for my personal opinion, Living when u want to die as it's ok if it's hard sometimes but not every time is also good.
