Well those are also needed to get a job in the present. Maybe you don't know yet. Acquire those and you may get the next job.

@Misotheism well if you ask me then I'd say that the better person should get the job. Better in all sense. Academic qualifications, experience, personalities, social skills etc.

Well, you may argue that you were better academically and had more job experience, but brother, you certainly lack in personalities and social skills. Not to mention a rotten mentality, which are highly inappropriate for the post.
