@cjko According to Einstein, "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity, but in relation to the universe, I'm not yet sure."

RE: So, I have cancer.
@Buryce Hello friend, cancer always depends on a number of factors, from your age to your habits, but myeloid leukemia is more common in young people. Current chemotherapy is much more efficient than it was 10, 20 years ago and there is now the possibility of having bone marrow transplantation (many countries have it in an international network) is difficult but not impossible by genetic blood typing. I had a college professor who survived a Hodkin Lymphoma (although it's an aggressive form of tumor). The action of chemotherapy is systemic, that is, it spreads in your bloodstream seeking to reach sick cells. Do not be discouraged, even with the onset, that it is so difficult to adapt your body and side effects. It may be a long period of treatment until the regression of tumor cells, which may be a few years. But throughout therapy and the responses of your body you can resume your daily life. Stick to the love of your loved ones and trust your doctors and nurses by adhering to the treatments and following the guidelines. You will get it !!! Trust and do not give up !!!

RE: I hate racist people here.
@Just-another-day It is unfortunate that someone limits everything to the pigmentation of the skin. With a simple scalpel bodies of different ethnicities flow the same red blood. Racism comes from ignorance and inability to see beyond appearances.

RE: In a perfect world , would you rather have more knowledge, more imagination ,or more empathy?
@cjko I believe Empathy, for it would lead individuals to seek the best in fact, not the unique and exclusive satisfaction of their ego. This would lead to seeking the knowledge of truth without the contamination of personal interests and these individuals would be able to abstract and imagine, but also to materialize these aspirations. However, there is a balance between these aspects.

RE: How do you (if you do) deal with anxiety?
@TheGoldenMole Anxiety as a state of natural alert is always welcome. A little adrenaline is always good to feel alive. It becomes pathological when it comes to controlling all the expectations of the subject. We can gradually test our anxiety states, never abruptly and know our limits, which can be overcome over time. If it is a limiting state then it is advisable to seek psychological help, since psychiatry is a powerful industry specialized in drugging people without helping them to experience difficulties and procrastinating the opportunity of self knowledge, except exceptions where chemically there is chemical imbalance of receptors and neurotransmitters as noradrenaline and serotonin.

RE: Can menstrual blood be donated to red cross?
@Kiss_My_Axe However great the menstrual flow (this would be a metrorrhagia, a condition of health to be evaluated by a gynecologist) besides being a residue of desquamation of the endometrium, being therefore inappropriate for donation. In addition to laboratory processing and guaranteeing the sterility of the collection, this is not possible since the vaginal canal is technically a potentially contaminated site, as well as some pathogens such as pseudomonas, gardenerella and some fungi such as candida albicans.
Really unfit to be reused. I hope it was not inconvenient in my review. -
RE: Where is Everyone?
In the most pessimistic probabilities among the trillions of known stars one has to consider the even the most fragile possibility of repeating the combinations found on this small rocky planet in a star of small magnitude as is the sun. Temperature, pressure, liquid water, atmosphere, oxygen gas concentration, location in relation to the dominant star, presence of satellite, panspermia, radiation doses controlled by an ozone layer and of course the possibility of favoring the formation of life forms based on carbon are some of the complex variables to allow a sketch of this lost laboratory in known space.
Although these rare conditions can be repeated, it is necessary to consider evolutionary stages of species that still do not leave the primordial brood, with no chance of thriving without first developing autotrophy, chemosynthesis of volcanic chimneys in deep oceans, first drafts of heterotrophy , concentration of minerals and nutrients to form simple amino acids and random tests of plasma resistance of the first microorganisms. Millions of years of evolution considering the bombardments of wandering bodies from the hostile space.
It is the incredible combination of the hostility of the outside to absurdly fragile cellular organisms.

RE: Can menstrual blood be donated to red cross?
@Kiss_My_Axe In hemodialysis there is technology of the dialysers for blood filtration; yet patients need to perform up to 3 sessions to eliminate metabolites and toxins.
Well, to water plants can even serve because it is biological material and its nutrients can be absorbed by soil and plants. We would be a good fertilizer if we did not so much contaminate the soil with the slurry of our corpses. -

@Indrid-Cold You may disagree with what I said Indrid. It is always good to have the counterpoint and a pleasure to receive your notes.

RE: Is Evil Learned or Inherent?
@TheGoldenMole Often we are more sensitive to the evil they do to us than to what we do to others. Again the ego covering our responsibility, but the ego is our construction

RE: Is Evil Learned or Inherent?
@TheGoldenMole I think that we are creatures who tend more to evil by not being able to understand the good and its sacrifices. We create situations that lead to bad consequences due to our ego and its satisfaction. We reveal the lack of good that still exists in us.

RE: Is Evil Learned or Inherent?
@TheGoldenMole If we believe that evil is learned then we would be with Jean Jacques Rosseau, who says that man is pure and society corrupts him. If evil is innate then we would be in accordance with the Christian Jewish conception of original sin.
My opinion is that evil comes from the ignorance of good. From the moment the creature develops its emotions on a higher level it does not regress to evil. If the person looked good and became evil then it was all falsehood.
