So, it's been a long time since I've posted my "article-length", well, posts. And, uh, I don't know. It's been a long time since I've even used TWS. I wanted to forget all of it. But here I am, so, indeed, OLD HABITS JUST STICK. I think I use this platform to express my thoughts, which I hope, those who do read, understand and enjoy. And also, one of the appeals is that a lot of people don't read it because they're busy in their own kind of thing.
And again, maybe this is just for someone who's actually interested in knowing how the mind works, if I put it in a poetic way.
So, yeah. Old habits. What about them? Now, I would love it if the people who read would actually comment on it so I know that I'm not the only one. But hey, or not?...
You ever watched House MD? It's like the whole Vicodin thing for House. Or any drug addict's 101. Any smart drug addict(FUN FACT: The most intelligent people resort to heavy usage of recreational drugs or alcohol) would know that, once they start drugs, there's a good chance they'll be hooked to it.
So, why do we do the things we do? Right now, I'm sitting here doing this when I have something way more important to do. I like doing that, but this, this is not so important and I don't enjoy it all that much either. So why do I do it?
I think we all live in the grey of things, right in the middle of yin and yang. As much as we try to be good people, our pasts' haunt us. Cliché, yes, but for a reason. So anyways, why do we do it?
I think, we choose bad choices once in a while either out of complete joblessness or too much pressure. It makes sense both ways, because in the first, you just want to try something new, no matter what the cost and in the second, you're looking for a way to deposit all the stress.
So what I say, is, if you're about to start something that may be called addicting, seriously take thought into it. Ask yourself if you want to be hooked to it for the rest of your life. If you have no problem, then by all means.
Because, actually "being on the wagon" (always makes me laugh - I blame Seinfeld) requires a great deal of dedication. And it's more likely that someone who is more of a procrastinator will achieve recovery way later than a person that sticks to their plans and gives rules and discipline importance.
Anyways, that's what I'm thinking right now. If you do read this, please let me know what you think. And have a great day!

I also wrote a song...
So this was way back when I had a huge crush on this guy. I wrote this song before it actually started to happen but, you know. Anyways, here's how it goes:
EARPHONES
I call my ex
And he lifts the phone
I tell him what
He doesn't bother at all
I say good bye
He ain't cutting the call
I know why
Cuz' he's with his girl.....So I plug in my earphones,
And listen to what they're talking.
Oh! I just hate that evil girl
Cuz' she stole my guy andI hate those speakers
I love my earphones [2X]
I hate those speakers
I love my earphones a lot....Right until then,
He lured me just enough.
And right for now,
Not a hope at all
I'm struggling 'lot
He ain't helping at all
I know why,
Cuz he's with his girl....So I plug in my earphones,
And listen to what they're talking.
Oh! I just hate that evil girl
Cuz' she stole my guy andI hate those speakers
I love my earphones [2X]
I hate those speakers
I love my earphones a lot....Sometimes it's so much hard to think.
Mhmmm
He used to be my favorite thing
Mhmmm
I don't know what to do right now
Mhmmm
Please help me, please help me, please help me
Yeah, yeah, oh!So I plug in my earphones,
And listen to what they're talking.
Oh! I just hate that evil girl
Cuz' she stole my guy andI hate those speakers
I love my earphones [2X]
I hate those speakers
I love my earphones a lot....So, yeah. That's that. Please lemme know how it is. Comments would really help.
Hope you have a good day :) -
My encounter with this one guy online.
So we tend to appear here mostly out of boredom right? So there's this site called omegle.com . And I for one am super bored and cynical and like I've mentioned in previous posts, sapiosexual. For those of you who don't know what it means, it means being aroused by intelligence. Kinda like the saying "smart is the new sexy". (I hope this is not inappropriate, so it won't be moved) So basically, with Omegle you can find strangers who want to talk about a common topic. Now, I think our common tag was MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), if you know what it is. He said he was an INTP and I said I was an INFP. We started talking about how both of we were both sapiosexuals. And then, it came down to comparing intellectual levels. Now, please not that this was never my idea but I still went along with it so I'm equally at fault probably? Anyways, he "deduced" that I was smart and called me an INTP (all smart people don't have to be INTPs). Anyways, I'm not that smart. But ehh. Who doesn't like flattery, right?
So then, we exchanged other social platform IDs and we called it a night. We started talking the next morning, taking random quizzes or something. XD. I was bored. You do cringey things when you're bored. So, it was finally decided that I was smarter. Yes, I do take pride in it but I don't see the point of comparison though. And then, he drops the "I love you" bomb. I'm like:
(Hope you're enjoying the Barney Stinson GIF lol)
And then I say, "you don't even know who I am. Lol. And don't get your hopes up so high cuz I don't like people that easily". And then we talk about each others secrets we've never told anyone, yes I'm talking about the things you think I'm talking about, if you know what I mean. And then, he drops the bomb again. I say, " I barely know you". He says, "I shared my darkest secret with you. How can you still not like me?"
The point I'm trying to make here is, I understand that we get lonely sometimes and that's alright. But don't convince yourself to settle for something you never even deserved. And no, that's not love. Maybe flattery, but not love.
Anyways, how it ended ultimately was that me being my cynical self started to apparently make him question if there was a chance I was a dude. So he asked me to send a picture of my hands, lol. He said he could identify gender by looking at the hands. I sent him a picture. He said I had man hands. Lmao! Apparently, he didn't know what to do or whether to trust me. And I immediately sensed where this was heading... He was asking for a picture of my face. I bluntly said no. And then he starting swearing and it got wild. I tried to make peace. I guess it kinda did work, but yeah. We "split" (lol) in amicable terms.Hope you enjoyed reading this. I would love to hear your experiences of the sort too.
Hope you have a good day :) . -
RE: Hey everyone who is your favorite movie star
I love both Heath Ledger and Christian Bale, which is an irony considering their roles. But that's what movie lovers are supposed to be.

RE: Old habits just stick...
@kaia_ that would appear to be the right thing to do.

RE: I think I can say I've traveled?.. Part 1.
@DennisJM I think I enjoyed the Sky Tower the most. The scenery, I guess I've always wanted to live in a city atmosphere, so from up above, the lights looked just beautiful. And the timing, it was right.

RE: Old habits just stick...
@kaia_ It's not wise, indeed. That's how I ended my long post. It's not safe to start some thing that's called an addiction but if you are, then imagine all of eternity being addicted to it.

I think I can say I've traveled?.. Part 1.
Let's see. The places I've been to: India, Australia, UK, New Zealand, and USA. Well, I'd like to talk about Sydney in particular in this post. Australia's a great country to visit. I've stayed there for about only 2 weeks. I went to Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
So, first, I got off at Sydney. The first day was more of a 'see-the-"elite"-things', classic textbook, tour package kind of way. We went to an aquarium/petting koalas place, where ever that is in the city. It was really pretty. I got to get a ride to see penguins up close and even pet koalas. Lol. I said that before. But later, we went to Madame Tussauds and well, for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a place where there are wax displays of famous people, from historical figures to great actors. So, the ones I remember seeing were Barack Obama, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ryan Gosling, Angelina Jolie, Justin Beiber, Marilyn Monroe, E.T. (well technically not a person) and I guess a lot of others.
And then, it was almost like 4 in the afternoon, and we were all hungry, so we stopped at this place, somewhere like a grill? Anyways, I remember that it's just a 2-minute walk from Madame Tussauds. Why I remember it so distinctively is because I had the best pizza I've ever tasted there. One was a pumpkin and feta cheese one and the other was a good ol' margarita. But, if you ever do stop by in Sydney, it's right across the Opera House and I guarantee you, there's good pizza.
After that, we went walking around the city, and got into the Sky Tower. It was part of the tour package so got to go to a high altitude and look at the city from above. It was about 6:30 or 7 pm at the time. And it was extremely beautiful. All those lights, they remind you of how life has evolved over time and more than anything, you think like Leonardo DiCaprio...
But yeah, hope you get the idea... And slowly, the sun set and we went to our hotel.I hope the post wasn't too long. In my defense, this was just Day-1. Hope you liked it. Please share your travel experiences too. I'd love for it to hear any.
Hope you have a good day :) .
