You can try 1984 by George Orwell, or if don't like philosophy, there's always Alexandre Dumas with The 3 Musketeers or The Count of Monte-cristo.

RE: Recommend books to me!!
@thestrangest you mean 1984? Well, it's true that it's not as much philosophy, as it is explaining an ideology that has been put to the extreme. However, one concept that is at least alittle bit "philosophic" (even if a little overplayed) is how knoledge is the biggest weapon. Also how hate is predominant in the world and all that stuff. But the 3 musketeers sure as shit ain't philosophy, brotha.

RE: Should the death sentence still be a thing?
@rendezvous yeah, but for people who commit mass murders and rapes, the only punishment that would be equivalent to their crime would be active torture, wich i'm pretty sure is illegal, regardless of the lerson who's doing the torturing.

RE: Why does the universe exist?
Maybe because of a series of unknown, uncomprehensible circumstances residing both in the factual and hypothetical realm. The universe was created because X interacted with Y. This interaction was nowhere, but also everywhere. Never, but always. The universe was created to fill the blank space. And no matter how many different worlds, the universe will always be there, crated in the same way. The univerelse wasn't the beggining, beacause there must have been something before it, in order to create it.

RE: Should the death sentence still be a thing?
@rendezvous belive me, i completely agree, but the general consensus of the average person would be that torturing a person is wrong, imoral, barbaric and so on. In theory, torture is the best idea, but it would cause a lot of problems if it were put into practice.
