My brother had a blue kangaroo and I had a little puppy with sad eyes... It was a gift from our grandmother. I still have both, and I was very happy when my brother decided I can have the kangaroo... Its just something I always was fond of , he is staying in my bed to this day and he reminds me of the days when we where sleeping in the 2 floor bed and we would play with our plushy toy's and make up stories before sleep.

Depression will go away on it self most of the time, specially if you don't pour fuel on fire.
Avoid sad stuff all together no matter how relatable. Try watching positive things. Listening to positive music.

I got over my depression snuggled in bed sheets watching every season of "Adventure Time" (most positive cartoon I could find). Really helped me a lot..
And like you said yourself, expressing depression is much better then holding it inside.
When there is a dark rainy cloud above your head , just open up umbrella and wait for it to pass XD.

Might be just a phase and if it is , positive outlook is just enough , but if its not , you should look for the core of the problem.

My favorite one was about Nibiru ,the X planet. I was really invested in those stories and there was this youtube videos from Project Camelot, of course once world did not end in 2012 all those videos and associated channels got removed. :)It was much more then just stories about Nibiru , all kind of USA government secret projects and alien shit.... I was kind of skeptic but they almost got me to believe in a lot of bullshit XD I feel like a sucker looking back at it. Even my family made fun of me for believing in that crap.

If I wrote what my mother has been doing since the beginning of my life and how well mannered and dedicated this bitch is...IDK how she puts up with us shitheads .... I should start foundmymom page and I believe she would receive much needed vacation XD

I got 2 new crow friends that come land on a roof near my window every day....then they fly away once I feed them....

I had this giant fat ass homeless guy in the neighborhood... I seen him so many times pushing his fat fingers in a jar of moldy jam that he would pick out of dumpsters...So not all fat people are rich :)
