@DarkHorseDemon You would call it "tripping on a bra" unless you had some quip up your sleeve that you'd like to reveal

RE: Ask me stupid questions.
@Unknownnn On behalf of brits, you put an extra L in & got an extra L out of the situation. Hold that L. It's wrong to associate a "chill" with the naming of chili. It's wrong in the context of the question even if it isn't in the most validated English rules.
Sorry if I sound a bit toxic. It's late & that's how i am at this time of night

@somemale22 I never gave a time frame, you're still on the waiting list.

RE: Ask me stupid questions.
@Unknownnn
Q1. Why does our nose run but our feet smell?
A: Noses run because words can be metaphorical & feet smell because the act of smelling is a homonym for a negative smell.
Q2. Is the S silent in "Scent" or C?
A: Neither, they are a conglomerate. When S and C go together, they are, in principle, one letter. As such, it will create a paradox when applying normal rules.
Q3. Why is it called Chilli if it's hot?
A:
I. Of course it's called chili if it's hot. Chili is hot.
II. "it"(the pronoun used generally) isn't called chili just for being hot
III. Because you added an extra L into the word "Chili' to make it a pun. You brought the L on yourself for why this is so.
IIII. Chili is not named after its temperature.(apparently some places outside America use an extra L) -

@Sassygirl As much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood

RE: Ask me stupid questions.
@Sassygirl The answer is yes. In all contexts.

@Lazz I would take part in a short, fun, & appealing activity. The Klondike bar can boost the appeal of otherwise neutral quirkiness you wouldn't turn your mind to. If a klondike bar can make something appealing, I'd do it for the klondike bar.

RE: Ask me stupid questions.
That depends on what "we" are. We is clearly a generalized term that represents nothing peculiar to one individual as opposed to another and so the question has to be brought back to a universal human standard.
With "we" being relating to persons, you can go with Descartes's "I think therefore I am" which is true among humanity. The "we" that is considered ourselves exists through thought and self-reflection.
Somehow for the sake of this forum, it's a "stupid question" in your opinion. It is in essence as it is the self reflection that answers itself.

@Lazz Water will become visible to a fish that's thrown on dry land. Water has a form whereas air does not. As far as practical concerns go, it is ignored underwater and as such can be "invisible"

RE: Ask me stupid questions.
OR "if peanut butter wasn't called peanut butter, it wasn't called at all"
It depends on the context -
RE: Ask me stupid questions.
@jessicka oh my god... so much speculation... Can it be close ? Does it have to be a completely original name ? Do I get to decide ? Can I just SWITCH MY LANGUAGE & get away with not calling it exactly that ? If everyone MAGICALLY forgot that term instantaneously they might goooo for something clueless like "the jar of the tan stuff that goes with jelly" for a little bit. Maybe "goober spread" otherwise O.O

RE: Lets talk about race and history.
Yeah you can call someone "ignorant" for not knowing the history behind black-face. On the other hand, the heart & intent matter as well(it was obviously not meant as prejudice or discrimination in any way so the ignorance goes somewhat in the other direction too.).
Subliminal things aren't consequential. Racism is direct intent to discriminate or a prejudiced hate act. The highlight mention is a stretch in my opinion. If you want something hidden, it's dark. If you want something accentuated, you add light.
Police brutality is not race based. The media is. They don't look at the details, they give a shallow overview. The victim is usually to blame for not following standard procedure or violently resisting arrest. George Floyd cried wolf(lied) and resisted prior to the publicized incident relating to him. An officer tried to keep him under control and trust was lost in the situation so they did not see eye to eye.
